The Washburn Ichabod track and field team will open its season at two locations this weekend as the multi athletes will take part in the Boo Rogers Combined Events and the pole vault crew at the Crimson and Gold Invitational at Pittsburg State on Friday and Saturday and the Washburn Alumni Invitational at the Sneed Indoor Athletic Facility on Saturday.

WHO'S COMING TO TOPEKA
There are 48 teams scheduled to compete in Topeka on Saturday with 762 total student-athletes entered overall, counting for a total of 1,200 entries overall. Washburn will have a total of 23 women competing in 36 events and the men will have 20 competing with 29 total entries.

WHO'S GOING TO PITTSBURG
For the Crimson and Gold Invitational and the Boo Rogers Combined multi events at Pittsburg State both Friday and Saturday, the Ichabods will have two men and three women entered.
Reagan Housley will compete in the pole vault as will

Bryce Schwerdtfeger. Competing in the multi events will be

Judah Bowell for the men and

MIAA PRESEASON COACHES POLLS
The Washburn Ichabods were picked third in both MIAA Preseason Indoor Coaches Poll released by the league on Dec. 4.
