LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod men's track and field team picked up an event winner while sending five individuals in six different events to Saturday's finals on the second day of the Kansas Relays. The Ichabods will also be in action for the final day in California as well as the third and final day of the KU Relays in Lawrence on Saturday.
Competing for the first time as an Ichabod, Justin Forde won the triple jump with a mark of 15.48m (50-09.50).
Ezekiel Seamster qualified for the finals in both the 100m and the 200m with times of 10.63 and 21.62 respectively after finishing third in the 100m prelims and eighth in the 200m prelims.
In the 400m hurdles,
Sam Baxter finished sixth with a personal-best time of 53.98 and
Jake Muller was ninth in a time of 54.17 as both advanced to Saturday's finals.
The 4x100m relay team of

Javier Lopez,
Tyler Mooney and Seamster took seventh in the prelims in a time of 41.19 and advance to Saturday's finals.
