Kamble Haverkamp has been named to the 2025 NCAA Division II Academic All-America® Football Second Team as announced by the College Sports Communicators on Tuesday. Haverkamp becomes the first Ichabod to earn Academic All-America® honors since Washburn head coach
Zach Watkins was a two-time selection following the 2007 and 2008 seasons.
Haverkamp, who started all 11 games at safety this past season as a senior, made 76 tackles with 56 of them being solo stops adding 11.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks. He also recorded four interceptions and four fumble recoveries end route to all-MIAA first-team honors and D2CCA all-region second-team accolades.
For his career, he was a four-year member of the Ichabods playing in 28 games recording 109 tackles with four interceptions and was a four-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and an MIAA Scholar Athlete.
