BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. - The Washburn Women's Golf Team turned in another strong performance at the NSIC Preview, finishing second overall at Adams Pointe Golf Club.

"Another awesome week and a new challenge for our ladies as well," said Director of Golf Ronnie McHenry. "Last week we had the lead and had to hold off other teams, and then this week we got the chance to chase down the leader and came up 1 stroke short. This will be another learning experience come post-season play."

The Ichabods finished with a 36-hole total of 27-over (16+11), just one shot behind tournament champion Missouri Western (+26). 

Susana Granados Carrion led the Ichabods with a runner-up finish at 3-over, carding a final round 73 (+1).

Keira Ronsick recorded a top-five finish, placing fifth at 7-over after a final round 76.

Raegan Petersen finished inside the top-10, tying for 10th at 8-over following rounds of 76.

Angelina Borg-Malec placed 11th overall at 9-over after a final round 74 (+2).

Aliyah North rounded out the team scoring, finishing 15th at 12-over after posting a 77 in the final round.

Competing as individuals, Allie Sullivan finished 45th at 22-over, while Lois Deeter placed 60th at 28-over.

The Ichabods will head to Monkey Island, Okla., to take part in the Spring Region Preview April 5th-7th, at Shangri-La Country Club.
