MARIMAR BEACH, Fla. - The Women's Golf Team wraps up round 2 on day 2 of the Emerald Coast Classic.
"To come back and best our round from yesterday was impressive and stay in reach of some of the top teams in the country," said Head Coach
Ronnie McHenry. "We are learning a lot about ourselves, and how to compete for 3 straight days, this is what post season will be like."
The Ichabods sit in 5th at +23 ahead of several nationally ranked teams.
Angelina Borg-Malec shot even 71 on day 2 and moved herself up into a tie for seventh. She birdied back-to-back holes on 11 & 12.
Raegan Petersen sits in 10th after she shot a 75(+4), she shot a 37(+2) on the back nine.
Spainard
Susana Granados Carrion finished round 2 with a 72(+1) and moved herself into 33rd place, up 15 positions from yesterday.
Aliyah North shot a day 2 76(+5) and sits in 49th place with a tournament score of +12.
Keira Ronsick is in 73rd place after a round 2 82(+11).
The Ichabods are behind 46th-ranked Mississippi College, 10th-ranked Flagler, 18th-ranked St. Mary's (TX), and 6th-ranked UT Tyler, who lead the tournament at 1-over through 36 holes.
The Third & Final round starts tomorrow at 9 AM CT.
