WARRENSBURG, Mo. - The Ichabod Women's Golf Team is tied for sixth after Day 1 of the MIAA Championships an only seven shots back of the lead.
Washburn as a team shot 33-over par in Round 1 of the Women's MIAA Championships, and they trail the leaders, Nebraska-Kearney(+26), by seven shots.
Susana Granados Carrion &
Raegan Petersen are both tied for 14th at 7-over par. Petersen had two birdies on the day.
Angelina Borg-Malec is just behind them at 8-over and in 18th place.
Aliyah North &
Keira Ronsick complete the Ichabod lineup. North sits in 37th place at 11-over, while Ronsick is in 46th place at 12-over par.
The tournament continues tomorrow for Round 2 of the conference tournament; the Ichabods' Round 2 tee time is TBD.
