MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. – The Washburn Women's Golf team wrapped up play at the Spring Region Preview with a sixth-place finish after the final round at Shangri-La Resort.
"Women's group keeps up the great spring with another strong finish against a great regional field," said Head Coach
Ronnie McHenry. "It was a full team effort, and Keira really played great for us. Just like the men, they are playing some of our best golf of the year at a great time. Looking forward to the postseason challenge.
The Ichabods finished in sixth place at 31-over par as a team, and above MIAA foe Central Missouri, which is ranked #33 in the country.
Angelina Borg-Malec finished tied for fourth at 3-over par after firing a final round 2-under 70.
Keira Ronsick also finished tied for fourth at 3-over par, closing with an even-par 72 in the final round.
Susana Granados Carrion placed 24th at 10-over par after carding a 6-over round on the final day.
Aliyah North finished 43rd at 18-over par following a final round 77.
Raegan Petersen rounded out the lineup in 48th at 19-over after shooting a 77 in the final round.
