KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Susana Granados Carrion has been named the MIAA Co-Women's Golfer of the Week following her standout performance at the Missouri Southern Fall Invite earlier this week at Twin Hills Golf Club.

Lauren Anderson of Rogers State shared the player of the week award with Granados Carrion. Anderson posted rounds of 70 (-1) and 73 (+2) at the Northeastern State Women's Golf Classic earlier this week. 

Granados Carrion carded rounds of 72 (E) and 73 (+1) good a second-place finish and a 36-hole total of 145 (+1). She also broke her own previous Washburn program record of 2-over for a 36-hole tournament. 

Granados Carrion helped lead Washburn to the team title with a score of 588 (+12), marking the second tournament victory in program history. The Ichabods also recorded the lowest single-round score in program history, shooting 287 (-1).

Washburn finished 16 strokes ahead of runner-up Arkansas Tech, which finished at 28-over.

The Ichabods return to action Monday at the Newman Invite at Terradyne Country Club.
