Ichabods ranked 18th in AFCA Preseason Top 25 poll

WACO, Texas -- THe Washburn Ichabods were picked 18th in the American Football Coaches Association Top 25 Division II Coaches Poll which was released today by the AFCA.Washburn opens the season Sept. 1 at Sioux Falls (S.D.).

The Ichabods have either received votes or been ranked in each of the last five preseason top 25 polls. The Ichabods opened the season at No. 10 in 2010, No. 25 in 2007 and at No. 16 in 2006. In the 2008 and 2009 preseason polls, the Ichabods received votes, but not enough to push them into the top 25 rankings.
