• Washburn will be looking for its first two-game road winning streak since ending the 2004-05 season and it's first two-game MIAA winning streak since February 2006.
Andrew Meile is eighth in school history with 121 3-pointers and 311 attempts in his four years.
• WU's win Saturday was its third this year when trailing at some point in the second half.

About the Fort Hays State Tigers
The Tigers have lost three straight games and are 1-3 in the MIAA and 8-4 overall. Fort Hays State is 7-1 at home with the loss coming against Truman. WU-FHSU series notes
• This is the 142nd meeting between these schools in a series that goes back to 1918-19. It is the third most played series for WU behind Emporia State and Pittsburg State. Washburn leads the series 82-59.
• The two teams played each other three times last year with FHSU winning twice. FHSU's win towards the end of the year eliminated the Ichabods from the postseason tournament.
• These two schools shared five CSIC titles and three NAIA national championships during the 1980's. They also played each other 27 times during that time with WU winning 14 games. Six of those meetings came in the NAIA playoffs with FHSU winning four of them.
• Washburn's 1983-84 team was 24-8 heading into the district final against the Tigers. The Ichabods were sent on the road to play them for a chance to advance to the national tournament. WU's president arranged to have the team flown there for the game on a twin-propeller airplane. Despite their first class travel arrangements, the Ichabods ended up losing the game and Fort Hays State went on to win the national title. The Ichabods got their revenge in the 1986-87 season when they beat the Tigers three times on their way to a national title.
• These two teams have met in overtime six times with FHSU holding a 4-2 lead. The last OT meeting came last year when the Tigers won 70-69 in the Eastern New Mexico Shootout.
