Head coach Bob Chipman coached his 900th game with the Ichabods Tuesday night and they reached the 100-point mark for the 64th time in school history as they beat Baker 107-64 in Lee Arena.

Washburn (3-0) made 14 3-pointers, one short of the school record and the Ichabods shot 51 percent from the field and 45 percent from 3-point range.

Washburn will return to action Friday and Saturday in the Central Oklahoma Thanksgiving Classic. Friday the Ichabods play Southwestern Oklahoma at 6 p.m. and Saturday they play the seventh-ranked Bronchos at 8 p.m.

Washburn opened the game on a 6-0 run and then the Ichabods pushed the lead to double digits at 14:16 when Nate Daniels' lay-up made the score 19-8. The Ichabods kept their double-figure lead the rest of the way and built it as high as 32 points in the opening half when Scott hit a 3-pointer with 6:49 left in the half.

The Ichabods led 75-43 at halftime and they pushed the lead to 40 with a shot from Paul Byers that made it 89-49. Feighny's jumper at 3:46 gave Washburn its 64th 100-point game in school history and third in the last two years.

Chipman, coaching his 30th year, all at Washburn, is now the eighth coach in NCAA Division II history to coach at least 900 games with at least 600 wins.

Paul Byers led WU with eight rebounds and he blocked two shots to move within eight of third in career history, now with 71.

Brock Entner led Baker with 17 points. The Wildcats (1-4) counted the game as an exhibition.
