ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- The Washburn Ichabods finished in third place at the Missouri Western Regional Invitational and Nathan Hoefflin led the Ichabods with a seventh-place finish. Washburn returns to action next week at the Otter Invitational in Seaside, Calif., wrapping up the fall slate.

Hoefflin finished with a 5-over 218 tying for seventh overall with rounds of 71, 71 and 75. Trey Siegel recorded a 54-hole total of 223 with a 10-over scorecard after recording back-to-back 74s and finishing with a 4-over 75 on Tuesday's round tying for 18th.

Ronnie McHenry finished in a tie for 21st after a three-round total of 11-over 224 after scores of 73, 74 and 77. Tyler Wright finished in a tie for 33rd opening with back-to-back rounds of 74 then finishing with a 7-over 78 on Tuesday for a total score of 226.

Sam Schulte finished in a tie for 46th with scores of 75, 79 and 76 for a 17-over 230.

Central Oklahoma led from start to finish for the invitational recording a team score of 8-over 860. The Bronchos Erik Kline won the individual title with a 3-under 210 as he was the only golfer to shoot below par. Central Missouri finished second with a team score of 881. The Ichabods finished third with a team score of 889.
