MAYETTA, Kan. – The Washburn Men's Golf team is set to host the Firekeeper Open on Monday and Tuesday at Firekeeper Golf Course & Resort, which is the only home event of the season.
The Ichabods head home after coming off a second-place in Pittsburg, and move into #47 nationally after their recent performances.
Washburn will field two teams in the tournament, competing as an A and B squad, along with several individuals.
Jacob Fratzel took home another top-10 finish, his fourth top-10 finish of the season.
Marco Anderson finished fourth last week in Pittsburg, the third top-5 finish of his Ichabod career.
Myles Tarvin had his best finish as an Ichabod last week with a 3rd place finish after shooting 6-over par after a couple of windy days in Pittsburg.
Redshirt Senior
Blake Buessing finished 48th last week, and
Brody Scafe had the best finish of his career with a tie for 22nd at Crestwood Country Club.
