GREAT BEND, Kan.--- The Washburn JV men's basketball team picked up its second straight win of the season Friday afternoon against Hesston College at the Best Western Booster Club Classic with a score of 83-70.

The Ichabods jumped out to an early lead which they never relented and were led in scoring by Darren Spruill with 18 points. Jacob Dickey and Paul Muzzy each contributed 14 points apiece. Eric Harms cleaned up the boards with 11 total rebounds.

Washburn went 18-32 from the field including 7 of 9 from beyond the arc.
 
Up next, Washburn will return to action tomorrow afternoon against Highland Community College for its second matchup at the Best Western Booster Club Classic.
