Box Score OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- The Washburn junior varsity men's basketball team used an impressive shooting performance to take its third straight victory, 90-84 over Johnson County Community College Monday.

AJ Pleasant and
Tommy Ekart both had 20 points or more for the Ichabods, Ekart leading the way with 26. Pleasant added a team-high seven assists.

JoBreil Powell had the hot hand off the bench once again for the Ichabods, with 8-12 shooting from the field and 17 points.

Defensively, the Ichabods were able to hold the Cavaliers to 2-15 shooting from the field, and 44 percent overall. They were also able to force 16 JCCC turnovers, with Ekart grabbing four steals.

At 11 a.m. Saturday, the Ichabods will play their first home game of the season against the Ottawa University JV team. The two teams met in Ottawa on Nov. 7, with the Ichabods taking away a 109-73 victory.
