Box Score FORT SCOTT, Kan. -- The men's junior varsity basketball team fell victim to a rough shooting night in its worst loss of the season and third consecutive loss in an 87-51 effort against Fort Scott Community College.
The Ichabods shot a season-low 16-52 from the field, including 7-24 from the 3-point line while committing 20 turnovers in the loss. They were without leading scorer
AJ Pleasant, who in six games has averaged 16.9 points per game.
Tommy Ekart took over the scoring load for the Ichabods, leading the team with 14 points.
On the defensive end, the Ichabods allowed 54 percent shooting from the field, and 48 percent shooting from the arc by the Greyhounds. Five Fort Scott players scored in double figures, led by Tyler Zinn with 22 points.
The 5-4 Ichabods will have their rematch with the Greyhounds at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Lee Arena.
