TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Ichabod men's junior varsity basketball squad squeaked past the Lions of Brown Mackie College in its season finale Monday evening at Lee Arena. 

In one of its tightest games of the season the Ichabods knocked down 10 long-range field goals en route to a 12-point victory over Brown Mackie. The win was team effort by the Ichabods with a season-high 31 bench points. The Ichabods cleaned the glass, outrebounding the Lions 51-42 putting up 13 second chance points.

Darren Spruill led the way for the Ichabods with 18 points and six rebounds which was complemented by a 16 point contribution from Paul Muzzy. 

The Ichabods closed out its season with a 5-9 record.
