>> Transfer junior Zion Bowlin was named the MIAA Hitter of the Week after a strong showing at the plate against Missouri Western.
>> He finished the weekend series 8-for-13, batting .615 and had a slugging percentage of 1.077.
>> He also collected seven RBI and scored four runs over the three-game series. Four of his eight hits went for extra bases as he finished with three doubles and a home run.
>> In the series finale, Bowlin was 3-for-4 with two doubles and a two-run homer and finished the afternoon with three RBI and two runs scored.
>> This marks the second time this season a Washburn player has received the weekly conference award as Wyatt Featherston was named Hitter of the Week on Feb. 12

>> The Ichabods recorded their sixth multi-homer game of the season by sending four over the fence in the series finale against Missouri Western.
>> Bay hit his first long ball as an Ichabod with a solo homer in the second inning.
>> Featherston hit a solo shot in the sixth inning for his third homer of the season.
>> Bowlin also recorded his third homer of the season when he sent the first pitch of his at bat out of the stadium in a hurry in the seventh.
>> Parker Dunn cleared the bases with a three-run home run also in the seventh inning. He leads the team with five on the year.
