FORT SCOTT, Kan. -- Washburn men's JV takes a second loss at Gladbach Classic against hosting Fort Scott Community, 83-56. Ichabods shot 41 percent overall but were just nine percent from beyond the arc.
The first points of the game took 2 minutes to finally come. The Greyhounds got the scoring started with a three-pointer. Washburn's slow start was due to turnovers, they had 30 throughout the game. After FSCC went up 9-0, the Ichabods'
William Peterson gave Washburn their first points with 15 minutes remaining in the first half. Washburn followed with points in three straight possessions.
 The Greyhounds extended their lead to over 20 points towards the end of the half. Washburn headed into the half down 43-24.
Ichabods'
Josh Jamison took no time in the second half to score points. Jamison took the opening possession to the hoop for a foul and proceeded to make both free throws. Jamison would score the Ichabods' first six points of the half. Unfortunately, FSCC continued to score and put up a few threes. Greyhounds scored 14 in the same span.
FSCC kept the strong lead until the very end despite a late push from the Ichabods. Washburn men's JV falls to 0-2 on the season.

- Jamison led the Ichabods with 14 points on 6-for-9 shooting. Jamison starts the season with back-to-back double-digit games
- Jamison also led with 12 rebounds for his first double-double
- Mile Monical blocked two shots
Ichabods go to Olathe, Kan. on November 16 to face MidAmerica Nazarene. Tip-off is at 7:30 p.m.
