TOPEKA, Kan. – The Washburn men's track and field team put up 20 personal bests, six individual winners, two NCAA provisional marks and a facility record at the Washburn Alumni Invitational on Saturday at the Washburn Indoor Athletic Facility. Washburn returns to the indoor hosting the Washburn Rust Buster on Jan. 15.
 
Connor Last won the long jump with a school record, an NCAA provisional mark and a facility record topping his previous best by jumping 7.61m (24-11.75) topping the previous school record by nearly a foot, which he also owned. Last also finished third in the 60m finals in a time of 6.92, just off the school record of 6.91.
 
Tom Haug won the high jump with an NCAA provisional mark of 2.05m (6-08.75)
 
Romain Henry picked up two individual titles winning the 400m in a time of 49.01 and then won the 60m hurdles in a time of 8.11
 
Collen McLain won the 5000m run with a personal best time of 14:45.12 and Zac Chandler took home the individual title in the pole vault with a mark of 4.58m (15-00.25).
