PARSONS, Kan. -- Washburn men's JV lost the final game of a three-day stretch of games, losing to Labette Community College 80-53 Wednesday night. 

The Ichabods fell behind early and were outscored 46-24 in the first half. The Cardinals shot 47.1% from the field in the game, helping to build the early lead.  

Washburn was able to keep it closer in the second half, only being outscored 34-29 in the final 20 minutes of action before falling 80-53.  

Isaiah Braynen led the Ichabods in scoring with 14 points. Josh Jamison had 13 points and 13 rebounds as well as two steals. Overall Washburn shot 36.5% from the floor.  

Rebounding was equal, with each team pulling down 40 boards, Labette had a 12-2 advantage in makes from behind the arc.  

The Cardinals were led in scoring by Kamyn Edwards who finished with 37 points including 7-15 from 3-point range, he was the only player on the home team to reach double figures.  

Washburn will return to Topeka next Monday, Nov. 21 to take on Baptist Bible College at 7:00 p.m.
