KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Washburn Golf team placed two on the All-MIAA Team. Junior
Dawson Wills and Sophomore
Cade Uhlenhake earned All-MIAA First Team for landing in the top-12 in conference points
Wills and Uhlenhake were named to the all-conference team, after leading the Ichabods to four top-five team finishes including a tie for first place at the Warior Invitational.
Wills claimed first place in four of Washburn's first six events and ended the season fifth in the conference. Wills played 27 rounds for a stroke average of 73.33 with a low round of 66. He also earned MIAA Men's Golf Athlete of the Week three times throughout the season.
Uhlenhake placed in the top-five in one event and top-10 in three events this season and has a 73.74 stroke average with a low round of 69. He finished 1oth in the conference after placing 12
th in the 2022 MIAA Men's Golf Championship.
Wills and Uhlenhake was selected as individuals to compete in the Central Region in the NCAA Central/Midwest Regional. The regional will be played on May 5-7 at the Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, Indiana.
