EDMOND, Okla. – The Washburn Ichabods wrapped up the NCAA Regional Preview at Kickingbird Golf Course tying for 17th overall with a three-day score of 893. Washburn finished-off the second and third rounds with a pair of team scores of 294 after opening with a score of 305 in the opening round.
Addison Alonzo led the Ichabods finishing with a three-day total of 8-over tying for 42nd. He had rounds of 76, 69 and 73 for a 54-hole total of 218.
Kade Prentice,
Hayden Beck and
Quinn Earwood all tied for 70th overall with a total score of 225. Prentice had scores of 77, 74 and 74. Beck went 76, 75 and 74 while Earwood went 76, 76, 73 in their tournament rounds.
Zachary Haydamack tied for 85th with a total score of 229 after rounds of 77, 78 and 74.
Arkansas Tech won the tournament with a team score of 842 while Central Oklahoma was second with a score of 845. Rogers State (846), Henderson State (847) and Missouri southern (849) rounded out the top five.
The Ichabods will conclude their fall season Oct. 30-31 at the Citrus Intercollegiate outside of Orlando, Fla. at Champions Gate Golf Club.
