MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Washburn Ichabod women's golf team is in third place and one shot out of second after the first round of the Midwest Fall Classic at Mozingo Lake Golf Course hosted by Northwest Missouri. The final 18 holes will take place tomorrow.
 
Angelina Borg-Malec leads the Ichabods and is in a second-place tie individually after the first round after firing a 1-over 73. She is seven shots behind Libby Green from Central Missouri.
 
Susana Granados Carrion is in seventh after recording a 4-over 76 in her opening 18 holes.
 
Keira Ronsick is in 14^th-place overall after a 7-over 79 and Aliyah North is in a tie for 39^th after a 12-over 84.
 
Allie Sullivan is in a tie for 59^th after a 17-over 89 in her first round.
 
Playing as individuals, Lois Deeter is in a tie for 51^st after a 14-over 76 and Raegan Petersen is in 60^th after an 18-over 90.
 
Central Missouri is in front after a team score of 298 followed by Arkansas-Fort Smith at 311, ahead of Washburn's team score of 312. Nebraska-Kearney is in fourth at 318 and Northwest Missouri is in fifth at 319.
