MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Washburn Ichabod women's golf team wrapped up the Midwest Fall Classic with a fifth-place finish at Mozingo Lake Golf Course hosted by Northwest Missouri on a breezy day by the lake. Washburn will return to action on Oct. 28-29 wrapping up the fall slate at the Tulsa Cup.
Angelina Borg-Malec paced the Ichabods shooting an 11-over total score of 155 after rounds of 73 and 82 to finish in a tie for fifth.
Susana Granados Carrion recorded her third top-10 finish in four meets with a seventh-place showing after shooting a 36-hole total of 157 finishing 13-over with rounds of 76 and 81.
Keira Ronsick tied for 24th overall after a 21-over 165 with scores of 79 and 86 and
Aliyah North finished in a tie for 41st after rounds of 84 and 90 for a score of 174 (+30).
Allie Sullivan tied for 56th after carding rounds of 89 and 90 for a 35-over 179.
Playing as individuals,
Lois Deeter finished in a tie for 52nd with scores of 86 and 92 for a 35-over 178 and
Raegan Petersen finished in a tie for 57th with rounds of 90 and 92 for a 38-over 182.
Central Missouri won the team title with a team score of 624 followed by Arkansas-Fort Smith at 635, Nebraska-Kearney's 644 and Arkansas-Fort Smith's 645 as Washburn finished with a team score of 651.
