WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Ichabod Women's Golf Team heads to Mules Nation Golf Club to compete in the MIAA Golf Championships.
"Ladies are ready to compete for an MIAA championship! It will be a very tough test of golf, but I think they can handle the hard stuff as well as anyone," said Washburn Head Coach
Ronnie McHenry. "I know they are excited to get post season started and see what we can do."
Washburn enters the tournament after a solid regular season, winning their home tournament and taking 2nd in two other tournaments. They also rank 54th in the country, and eighth in the Central Region.
Susana Granados Carrion, who has six top-10 finishes on the season, with five of them being top-5s.
Senior
Angelina Borg-Malec heads into the conference championships finishing in the top 5 in three of the last four tournaments.
Keira Ronsick is looking for another top-10 finish; she currently has three top-10s in a row and four on the season.
Raegan Petersen and
Aliyah North both are coming in with two top-25 finishes on the year.
