BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – The Washburn Ichabod women's golf team moved up six slots in the second round to move into a tie for third place its final event of the fall at the Tulsa Cup at Forest Ridge Golf Course. The Ichabods will play the final 18 holes Tuesday.
Playing in their first 54-hole tournament of the season,
Susana Granados Carrion and
Keira Ronsick lead Ichabods with a 7-over 151 tying for sixth after the first two rounds. Carrion recorded rounds of 76 and 75 recording four birdies in her opening 36 holes. Ronsick had rounds of 77 and 74 with six birdies in the first day of play.
Angelina Borg-Malec is in a tie for 13th after moving nine spots up the leaderboard in the second round. She had rounds of 77 and 76 for a 9-over 153.
Aliyah North is in a tie for 55th with rounds of 84 and 80 for a 20-over 164.
Allie Sullivan sits in a tie for 84th overall after rounds of 88 and 85 for a 29-over score of 173.
Raegan Petersen is playing as an individual and is in 54th overall after a 36-hole total of 163 after rounds of 77 and 86 for a total score of 19-over.
Rogers State leads the tournament with a nine-shot lead over Arkansas Tech. The Hillcats are 28-over and Arkansas Tech is 39-over. Harding and Washburn are tied for third at 43-over and Missouri Western is in fifth five shots back.
