LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod men's and women's track wrapped up the 101st Kansas Relays bringing back 10 top-five finishes on the third and final day of the event. The Ichabods will return to action this Thursday at the FHSU Alex Francis Classic in Hays.
The 4x400m relay team of
Tyler Mooney,
Jeremy Garcia,
Jacob Herr and
Jake Muller won the event in a time of 3:18.45.
Jordan Dale and
Matthew Heckman tied for fifth in the high jump with an NCAA provisional mark of 2.06m (6-09.00).
Wyatt Heiman took fifth in the 200m in a time of 21.70 and
Gabriel Chinya finished fifth in the 1500m Invitational in a time of 3:52.00.
Ta'Mijha Nichols finished second in the 100m with a personal best and an NCAA provisional mark of 11.78.
Lillian Harris finished fourth in the 100m in a time of 12.08 and then placed third in the 200m finals with a time of 24.58 for a personal best.
In the invitational 4x400m relay, Lauren Cassady, Nairui Krein,
Ashley Heavner and
Kereser Augustin finished third in a time of 3:50.86
Lexie Fontaine took fourth in the 800m Invitational with a time of 2:12.46.
