KEARNEY, Neb. – The Washburn Ichabod men's and women's track and field team wrapped up the regular season with its final late-night qualifier at the Loper Twilight on Saturday as the Ichabods looked to improve their status for the 2024 NCAA Outdoor Championships. The NCAA will announce the qualifiers next week.
 
The 4x100m women's relay team of Ta'Mijha Nichols, Alyssa Hutcherson, Maya Pattison and Lillian Harris took first in an NCAA provisional time of 45..89.
 
Adriel Holloway threw a personal best in the hammer throw taking fifth with an NCAA provisional mark of 56.15m (184-03).
 
In the 400m, Kereser Augustin finished third with an NCAA provisional mark of 54.35 and Ashley Heavner was fifth in the 400m hurdles with an NCAA provisional time of 1:02.28.
 
On the men's side in the 200m, the Ichabods had a pair of NCAA provisional times and a school record in the event as Wyatt Heiman broke the school record with a time of 21.04 finishing sixth and Tyler Mooney was eighth at 21.20.
 
Justice Akinmoladun was fifth in the shot put with an NCAA provisional mark of 17.40m (57-01.00).
 
In the pole vault, Logan Schwab was third with a personal best clearing a height of 4.98m (16-04.00) for an NCAA provisional mark.
 
Alessandro Di Gregorio was fourth in the high jump clearing 2.06m (6-09.00) for an NCAA provisional mark.
