MUSKOGEE, Okla. – The Washburn Ichabod women's golf team finished 14th in its second tournament in program history at the Northeastern State Women's Classic on Saturday at Muskogee Country Club. The Ichabods will return at the MIAA Preview Sept. 23-24 in Kearney, Neb. at Meadowlark Hills Golf Club.
Susana Granados Carrion led the charge for Washburn with rounds of 75 and 78 for an 11-over score of 153 to finish in a tie for 36th.
Aliyah North finished in a tie for 48th with a 13-over score of 155 after rounds of 78 and 77.
Keira Ronsick placed in a tie for 55th with a 15-over score of 157. She had scores of 79 and 78.
Raegan Petersen shot back-to-back rounds of 79 for a score of 158 tying for 60th at 16-over.
Finishing in a tie for 77th was
Allie Sullivan with rounds of 81 and 84 for a 23-over score of 165.
Playing as an individual,
Lois Deeter tied for 90th in a score of 27-over with rounds of 83 and 86 for a 36-hole total of 169.
Rogers State won the event by nine shots over Arkansas Fort Smith who finished second followed by Henderson State and Southwest Oklahoma State. The Hillcats were 5-over as a team with a score of 573. UAFS had a team score of 582 and Harding had a score of 590.
Lydia Sitorus shot an individual score of 4-under 138 with scores of 70 and 68 topping fellow Hillcat Brianna Maddux by one shot.
