Washburn women's golf finishes 13th at Rattler Invitational

SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Washburn Ichabod women's golf team completed its first tournament of the 2025 spring season, placing 13th as a team with a three-round team score of 963 at the Rattler Invitational at The Dominion Country Club. The Ichabods will be back in action at the Emerald Coast Classic in Destin, Florida from March 9-11.

Susana Granados Carrion posted the low round of the day for the Ichabods, firing a 3-over 75. Granados Carrion finished the tournament with a three-day total of 231, placing her in a tie for 20th.

Allie Sullivan finished in a tie for 60th with a score of 244 after a final-round 9-over 81. Sullivan made two birdies on the back nine on her way to a nine-hole score of 39.

Keira Ronsick came in a tie for 62nd, sitting two shots behind Sullivan with a tournament score of 246. Ronsick posted a 16-over 88 to close the tournament.

Angelina Borg-Malec finished tied for 65th at 247 after concluding the tournament with a 12-over 84.

Raegan Petersen came in 82nd with a tournament score of 265, putting up her best round of the tournament with an 11-over 83.

Playing as an individual, Aliyah North finished in a tie for 41st with a total score of 239, joining Granados Carrion with a final-round 75.

Host school St. Mary's claimed the team title, combining for a total score of 18-over 882 to defeat Odessa College by one stroke. Washburn trailed 12th-place Western New Mexico by two strokes, while holding a 15-stroke advantage over Northwestern Oklahoma State.
