NORMAN, Okla. -- Washburn junior golfer Blake Saffell has been named to the PING All-Central Region golf team announced today by the Golf Coaches of America.

Saffell competed in 12 events this season leading the Ichabods with a scoring average of 72.64 over 33 rounds recording 10, top-10 finishes including winning the Firekeeper Open with a 9-under score of 207 (68-68-71). … had three other top-five finishes … overall had 14 rounds under par.
