Marco Anderson matched his opening day score in the second NCAA Division II Golf National Championships round at PGA National Resort. Anderson will be back on the course on Wednesday at 7:38 am in his season's final round.
Anderson opened his round with a 7-over, gaining a pair of pars with seven bogeys en route to a 43 on the front side.
Starting with hole No. 10, Anderson picked up a birdie and then closed his round with another birdie to close with a 2-over for another 81 on his second round scorecard.
Overall, Anderson is tied for 102nd after 36 holes.
Missouri S&T leads the team race entering the final 18 holes after shooting a team score of 8-under holding a three-shot lead over West Florida and first-round leader, St. Mary's (Texas).
Colton Swartz and Hunter Smith from Florida Southern and North Georgia lead the race at 6-under.
