MARIMAR BEACH, Fla. - The Washburn Women's Golf Team heads to the beaches of Florida for its second tournament of the spring.
"Have another fun tournament down in Florida for the ladies to start the spring," said Ichabod Head Coach
Ronnie McHenry. "Really strong teams, and it will be good to see our improvement and if we knocked off some of the tournament rust from the winter."
The Ichabods are coming off their first tournament since October, where they travelled to San Antonio two weeks ago for the Rattler Invitational, where they finished 9th in a field of many nationally ranked teams.
Susana Granados Carrion finished T-7th at the same tournament, making that her fourth top 10 finish of the season. She is ranked 72nd nationally and 6th in the Central Region.
Angelina Borg-Malec finished tied for 45th last week in Texas, shot 75 in Round 1.
Junior
Keira Ronsick took 55th last week after she shot a 77& 78 in the 36-hole day on Monday.
Raegan Petersen finished two weeks ago with a tournament score of 257 for an 83rd-place finish.
Aliyah North shot a 79 in the final round at the Rattler Invitational as she finished 78th with a tournament score of 250.
