JEFFERSON CITY, MO. - The Ichabod Men's Golf Team heads to Jefferson City Country Club to take part in the MIAA Golf Championships.
"Really excited for this group heading into the conference championship," said Ichabod Head Coach
Ronnie McHenry. "We've had a strong spring and put ourselves in a good position. The guys have been working hard and continuing to improve each week. Now it's about going out, competing, and seeing where we stack up against a really good field."
Washburn is heading into the tournament with four top-3 finishes on the season, including a tournament win down in Arizona. They are coming off a second-place finish at their home meet last week.
Myles Tarvin finished second last week, which is his best finish as an Ichabod in his first season with the program after transferring from Kansas City.
Jacob Fratzel took home another top-10 finish last week and his fourth of his freshman season.
Senior
Marco Anderson is the only Ichabod on the lineup this week who has MIAA Championship experience.
Blake Buessing comes off a top-25 finish last week at home, where he tied for 22nd, his best finish as an Ichabod.
Brody Scafe is heading into his fourth tournament in his freshman season.
Jake Kolich tied for 20th at the Men's Firekeeper Open, he has four top-25 finishes in his first season at Washburn.
