OTTAWA, Kan. -- The Washburn men's junior varsity basketball team won 91-88 on the road in overtime Monday night against Ottawa University's gold JV team. The Ichabods are now 2-0 on the season.

Washburn leaders

• Tommy Ekart went off for 23 points and hit five 3-pointers.
• JoBreil Powell also had a successful day behind the arc, sinking four 3-pointers. He tallied 15 points.
• Michael Juneman went 6-7 from the charity stripe en route to totaling 14 points.
• Tristin Lewis Dierking and Christian Scheopner both scored eight points in the second half.
   

The Ichabods return home to play Baker University on Thursday, Nov. 15. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
