Box Score TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn women's JV basketball team was unable to keep up with Hutchinson Community College (4-0) as the home team fell 84-53 on Wednesday night. The Ichabods are now 1-1 on the season.

Washburn leaders

• Hayley Thompson led the team with 21 points. She was 8-16 from the field and 5-6 from the free throw line.
• Adyson Narber added 12 points. She also dished out a team-high four assists.
• Jordan Lenherr had a strong night on the boards, pulling down seven rebounds. She also blocked three shots.
• The Ichabods totaled eight steals as a team. Kenya Medlock snatched three of those eight.
• In addition to stealing passes, Medlock contributed seven points.

The Ichabods will host Missouri Valley College's varsity reserve squad on Monday, Nov. 19. Tip-off at Lee Arena is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
