Box Score OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- The Washburn men's junior varsity team struggled making its shots Saturday evening against Johnson County Community College as they were just 18-of-60 shooting from the floor. The Cavaliers started the game on a 6-0 scoring run and never looked back as they won the game, 102-58. With the loss, the Ichabods fall to 3-4 on the season.
Washburn leaders
- Tommy Ekart scored a team-high 17 points. He also dished out a team-best four assists in the game.
- Spenser Wine also reached double digits. He totaled 11 points on 3-9 shooting from the floor and a perfect 2-2 at the charity stripe.
- Wine also pulled down four rebounds.
- Michael Juneman added eight points and three boards. He was 5-6 from the free throw line.
- Tristin Lewis Dierking blocked a shot attempt.
- The Ichabods were 14-16 from the free throw line.
Washburn will host a pair of games this upcoming week. The Kansas City Kansas Community College Blue Devils will come to Lee Arena on Monday, Dec. 3. The game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
