Box Score TOPEKA, Kan. -- Washburn men's JV fell to Baker University in the final seconds of the game, 78-77. Baker hit a 3-point shot in the final second of the game to win the game. Washburn is now 1-4 so far this season.
Washburn Leaders
- Shannon Cordes was the leading scorer for the Ichabods with 21 points. Cordes was 8-13 from the floor and snatched three rebounds for the team.
- JoBeil Powell scored 17 points for the team and was the leading rebounder with nine.
- Chase Dillion racked up 13 points for the squad and shot 7-8 from the free throw line. Dillon dished out four assists as well.
- Spenser Wine scored 11 for Washburn and made all five of his free throws. Wine snatched eight rebounds for the team.
- Washburn out rebounded the Wildcats 45-27.
Washburn men's JV will travel to Overland Park, Kan. to compete in the Johnson County Community College Classic on Fri., Nov. 22-23. The Ichabods will play Johnson County Community College on Nov. 22 at 7 p.m on the first day of the tournament.
