Box Score TOPEKA, Kan. -- Washburn men's JV fell to Kansas City Kansas Community College on Tues., Nov. 5, 71-58 in the home opener. Washburn held a two point lead in the second half but could not maintain it. The Ichabods are now 0-1 this season.
Ichabod Leaders
- JoBreil Powell was the leading scorer with 16 points for the Ichabods. He went 4-5 from the 3PT line and grabbed two steals for the squad.
- Hayden Federico scored 13 points and snatched nine rebounds as well.
- Shannon Cordes scored 10 points for the squad. Cordes was the leading rebounder for Washburn with 11.
- Elijah Keith dished out four assists.
- Washburn tied KCKCC in rebounds with 41 each.
Washburn will travel to Fort Scott, Kan. to play Fort Scott Community College on Mon., Nov. 11 at 7:30 p.m.
