Box Score TOPEKA, Kan. -- Washburn women's JV dropped the home opener on Tues., Nov. 5 to Kansas City Kansas Community College, 71-48. The Ichabods are now 0-2 so far this season.

Washburn Leaders

• Taylor Johnson led the Ichabods with 22 points. Johnson shot 7-13 from the floor and 6-6 from the free throw line.
• Daphne Williams posted nine points going 3-5 from the 3PT line. 
• Hannah Willey led the Ichabods in steals, capturing three. Willey totaled five points and five rebounds for the team.
• Drew DeLong dished out three assists for Washburn.
• Washburn snatched 41 rebounds with 30 of them being defensive.
   

Washburn women's JV will travel to Marshall, Mo., on Nov. 11 to face Missouri Valley College.
