EMPORIA, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod men's track and field team recorded an NCAA provisional mark along with 10 personal bests in its first action of the outdoor season on day one of the ESU Relays. The two-day event will wrap up on Saturday.
The Ichabods had five top-five finishes with
Mitch Miller finishing third in the discus with an NCAA provisional throw of 50.88m (166-11) recording a personal best in the process.
In the open pole vault,
Logan Schwab was third with a mark of 4.00m (13-01.50) for a PR and
Preston Witulski was fifth with a height of 3.90m (12-09.50).
Kyler Kaniper was third in the open high jump with a personal best of 1.85m (6-00.75) and
Keetan Munsell was third in the 3000m steeplechase in a time of 9:37.83.
