LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod track and field team sent a smaller group of participants to wrap up the regular season, before the MIAA Championship start next week in Jefferson City, to the Rock Chalk Classic at Rock Chalk Park. As a combined squad, the men's and women's team came back with 13 personal bests and two NCAA provisional marks.
On the women's side,
Rachael Mayberry was third with a personal best in the pole vault with a mark of 4.10m (13-05.25) for an NCAA provisional mark and
Tassilyn Bolin was fifth with a height of 3.85m (12-07.5) for an NCAA provisional mark.
Lily Johnson was second in the 800m run with a time of 2:14.74 for a personal best and
Eve Weber was second in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:13.51 for a personal best.
For the men,
Gabriel Chinya was third in the 1500m run in a personal best time of 3:54.55 and
Keetan Munsell was third in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 9:30.35.
