WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- Washburn golf sits in ninth place among a 19-team field at The Mule after two rounds of play. The Ichabods shot a 288 on both of the day one rounds and will take the course for the final 18 holes of the regular season tomorrow at 8:30 p.m.  

Washburn finished with a total score of 576 and a +16 in the par-70 course. They are one stroke ahead of Central Missouri (B) team and two strokes behind Harding University who sits in eighth place. Bemidji State leads the tournament shooting just three over par, they are two strokes ahead of Central Oklahoma in second place.  

Dawson Wills leads the Ichabods with a tied for 11th place finish, shooting just one over par for the day which included rounds of 69 and 72. Cade Uhlenhake shot a 73 on the opening round but finished the day with a 70 on the second round to land tied for 22nd place at +3 for the day.  

Jack Baker and Kade Prentice each shot 146 for the day and are tied for 45th heading into day two. Prentice shot a 72 on round one then a 74 on the second, Baker's scores were flipped with a 74 followed by a 72. Daniel Duffin is tied for 80th place to round out Washburn's team scoring shooting 152 across 36 holes.  

Individually, Max Ullan shot a 77 on the opening round but carded a blistering 68 on the final 18 holes to finish tied for 35th overall.  

Among all 19 teams, Washburn is second in scoring on par five holes, averaging 4.88 strokes per hole, they collected the fourth most pars among the competition with 114 total.
