TOPEKA, Kan. – The No. 19-ranked Washburn Ichabod men's track and field team wrapped up day one of the Ichabod Invitational with two individual champions, five NCAA provisionals, and five personal bests. Day two of the Ichabod Invitational begins on Saturday at 10 a.m.

In the high jump invitational, the Ichabod trio of Matthew Heckman, Jordan Dale and Alessandro Di Gregorio all recorded NCAA provisional marks. Heckman won the event with a meet record while tying the school record with a height of 2.15m (7-00.25). Dale finished fifth with a height of 2.04m (6-08.25), and Di Gregorio had the same height, finishing sixth.

Donald Kibet won the 5000m in a time of 14:29.24.

Tre Richardson was fourth in the long jump with an NCAA provisional mark of 7.22m (23-08.25).
