WASHBURN'S MIAA OUTDOOR CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY
The Washburn Ichabod men's track and field team is coming off back-to-back third-place finishes - its best showing in program history. The Ichabod women's squad finished a program-best second last season recording three individual champions. The women's team finished third the year before.
 
IN THE RANKINGS
In the USTFCCCA Checkpoint No. 5 rankings, the Ichabods have the No. 9-ranked men's high jump squad in the D2 ranks and the No. 9-ranked pole vault unit. On the women's side, the Ichabod long jump squad is ranked fifth overall with the 100m group ranked seventh.
 
LAST TIME OUT FOR THE ICHABODS
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – A small group of seven student-athletes from the Washburn track and field teams were in action today, bringing back two first-place finishes at the Zach Kindler Invitational.
On the women's side, Adriel Holloway brought back an individual title with a mark of 52.62m (172-08) in the hammer throw. Jayden Falley finished second in the event with a throw of 49.98m (164-00).
The Ichabod men's team brought back a championship as Adam Wooldridge recorded an NCAA provisional mark in the pole vault clearing 5.05m (16-06.75). Eli Strawn was third with a personal best of 4.75m (15-07.00) and Caden Caplinger and Logan Schwab tied for fourth at 4.60m (15-01.00).
