Ichabod men's track and field team wraps up 1st road meet of the season at NWMSU

MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Washburn Ichabods competed for the first time on the road on Saturday at the Bearcat Invitational and returned with nine personal bests and four top-10 finishes. Washburn will be back in action at the Washburn Indoor Athletic Facility on Thursday at the Ichabod Mid-Week Challenge and on Saturday at the Washburn Ichabod Invitational.
 
Mitch Miller was seventh and Braden Rose was seventh and ninth in the weight throw with both Ichabods recording personal bests as Miller recorded a throw of 17.79m (58-04.50) and Rose was ninth with a mark of 17.69m (58-00.50). Sam Stranathan was 10th in the event with a mark of 16.80m (55-01.50).
 
Connor Last was sixth in the long jump with a mark of 6.95m (22-09.75)
