EMPORIA, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod men's track and field team wrapped up the 2022 MIAA Outdoor Championships with an eighth-place finish scoring 56.5 points.
Romain Henry earned the Ichabods nine total team points after placing third in the 110m hurdles in a time of 13.93 with an NCAA Provisional time picking up all-MIAA honors. He earned six points in the 110m hurdle event, and he earned three team points after finishing sixth in the 400m hurdles in a time of 54.17.
In the high jump, Tom Haug gained five team points with a fourth-place finish with a mark of 2.03m (6-08.00). Andrew Orr finished seventh in his first MIAA Championship with a college-best mark of 1.98m (6-06.00) gaining 1.5 team points.
Collen McLain earned three team points in the 1500m after finishing sixth with a time of 3:52.31.
In the shot put, Justice Akinmoladun placing fourth with a personal best throw of 16.47m (54-00.50) gaining five points and Braden Rose was eighth gaining a team point with a mark of 15.77m (51-09.00).
Pittsburg State won the men's title with 169 team points followed by Missouri Southern with 135 and Lincoln with 96.
