TOPEKA, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod men's track and field team had quite the weekend recording 24 personal bests along with a school record and two NCAA provisional marks at both the North Texas Classic and the KT Woodman Classic hosted by Wichita State.
 
Braden Rose finished second in the hammer throw at the Woodman Classic and topped his own school record in the process with an NCAA provisional mark of 61.09m (200-05.00) besting his previous school record by 5-foot-9. He also recorded another provisional mark in the discus with a distance of 52.70m (172-11.00) en route to a sixth-place finish.
 
In Wichita, Justice Akinmoladun won the shot put with a mark of 16.14m (52-11.50).
 
At the North Texas Classic, Olumide Adams finished fourth in the 400m with a time of 55.59 and Alessandro Di Gregorio was fifth in the high jump with a personal best of 2.00m (6-06.75).
