TOPEKA, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod men's track and field team returned to its first action after the holiday break with six NCAA provisional marks, four event champions and 20 top-five showings along with 33 personal bests at the Washburn Rust Buster on Friday in Topeka at the Washburn Indoor Athletic Facility. Washburn will be back in action next Friday at the Pittsburg State Invitational.
Ezekiel Seamster won the 60m in an NCAA provisional time of 6.74 just ahead of
Tre Richardson who also recorded an NCAA provisional time at 6.80. Seamster also won the 300m with a a facility record time of 33.72.
Richardson picked up a win in the long jump with an NCAA provisional distance of 7.23m (23-08.75) for a personal best.
Ransford Nti won the triple jump with a mark of 14.48m (47-06.25)
Adam Woldridge finished second in the pole vault with a height of 4.87m (15-11.75) for an NCAA provisional mark and
Logan Schwab also had an NCAA provisional mark finishing in third overall at the same height.
Jaden Magana recorded two top-four finishes with a second-place showing in the weight throw with a personal best mark of 18.44m (60-06.00) for an NCAA provisional mark and was fourth in the shot put with a personal best with a mark of 15.55m (51-00.25).
